Solar Eclipse

Totality was supposed to be viewable 100 km northwest of Buenos Aires, just prior to sunset. But unfortunately, it was cloudy.

When the sun appeared between cloud layers, it was already less then half

We saw it getting thinner

mostly black, with a small illuminated sun

Seconds before totality, clouds blocked the view

After totality, clouds still blocked direct view. We only saw its rays illuminating clouds

creating one of those strange settings usually experienced with total solar eclipses
